Avid Birder
When I’m not in session or class, I love spending my time in local spots like Prospect Park or Green-Wood Cemetery to bird watch. I find it to be a very relaxing and grounding activity that I’ve grown very fond of. My favorite birds are ospreys and white-throated sparrows!
Film Watcher
One of my favorite ways to unwind after a long day is to get lost in a film. It can be such a great way to process emotions and spark conversation, and I really enjoy keeping track of films with Letterboxd! One of my favorite films I’ve seen this year is Blue Heron by Sophy Romvari.
Ice Cream Lover
I truly can go for a scoop of ice cream any time of the day, and my freezer is always stocked up. I gravitate towards anything with chocolate and peanut butter!
Professional Bio
Abby Kostner is a mental health counseling student, currently working towards her Master’s at Hunter College. She has previously earned her BA from Rutgers University, studying Psychology and Women and Gender Studies with a particular interest in human sexuality. Additionally, Abby has spent the last four years working within reproductive healthcare administration, allowing her to become knowledgeable about the intricacies that come with fertility treatment. She offers sessions virtually for teens and adults in New York, serving both individuals and couples.
