Hey there, I’m lisa!
Therapy is a space where all the parts of you are welcome—a safe place to remember who you are and give voice to what you long for. Our work is grounded in a collaborative, affirming relationship that can hold complexity with tenderness. Together, we listen for what’s true in the moment and attend to the wisdom of your body, emotions, and lived experience. With compassion, curiosity, and clarity, what feels overwhelming becomes more manageable, opening space for greater choice, connection, and freedom—within yourself, in your relationships, and in the world around you.

traveler
I have an insatiable appetite for airplane rides, dusty trails, road trips, mountain tops, moorish arches, campfires, the purple moon over New Mexico, and what’s around the next corner. And I also love nothing more than to be home in New York with my wife—and being with my beloved adult children whenever and wherever we can.
Obstetric Nurse
I am a registered nurse with decades of experience as a labor and delivery, postpartum and newborn nurse, doula, and birth photographer. Nursing has taught me about resilience, humility and capacity, and nurses have had the most profound impact on my ideas about humanity, service, integrity and stamina. And I still feel lucky when I get to hold a newborn baby.
writer
Right now I write papers for graduate school. I used to write a blog, the first time blogging was a thing. I’ve written one little book and published a few articles. So many poems, letters, journals. A memoir that’s never quite finished. Words are my solace, my playground, sometimes my nemesis. And writing is where I find my way home.
